Senior Tunnel Construction Project Manager

AECOM is hiring a Senior Tunnel Construction Project Manager in Austin, TX to direct tunnel and pump station construction projects end to end — pre-construction budgeting, procurement, delivery, and closeout — while serving as the primary client liaison. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Directs and manages the entire project, provides guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and serves as a primary liaison between AECOM and client.
- Accountable for delivering all facets of the constructed project in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Overall management of construction project life cycle including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, facility start-up and operation, and contract closeout.
- Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- Registered professional engineer in the State of Texas.
- 10+ years experience in Tunnel and Pump Station Construction.
- 15+ years' experience in Tunnel and Pump Station Construction.
- 5+ years' experience in managing the entire project including direct client interface.
- Project Manager for projects with construction costs exceeding $500 million USD including employee management of a diverse pool of professionals.
- Extensive knowledge of Texas DOT standard specifications.
- Some knowledge of AASHTOWare Project – Construction & Materials.
- Extensive knowledge of budget management and risks for the client and AECOM.
