Senior Turbine Control Engineer

About the role:

As a Senior Turbine Control Engineer you will oversee the Turbine Building design development for projects requiring adaptations from previous AP1000 projects.

You will report to the Europe Controls & Information Systems Engineering Manager and be located in Poland or in Bulgaria.

Model of work: hybrid

Travels: Poland, 30-40% of your time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of the Turbine Island Design Plan for 50 Hz AP1000 design.
• Support the development and distribution of engineering budgets and schedules for respective parts of new project execution.
• Facilitate cross-discipline coordination for resolution of both technical and schedule related challenges.
• Work with potential customers, partners, and regulators to support Westinghouse team members engagement and project plans.
• Support multiple aspects of future bid and proposal efforts in several countries.
• Support the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or projects engineering support.
• You will build relationships with multiple teams, you will analyze problems, assessing root causes, and providing practical solutions and recommendations to the PEM or team lead.
• Knowledge of Turbine Island systems, structures and components is an advantage.

This position may be based in multiple European countries. Compensation is location-specific and will be determined in accordance with local market conditions, internal equity, and the candidate's qualifications. For positions based in countries with pay transparency requirements, the applicable salary range will be provided in accordance with local legislation.
