Senior UI/UX Designer

Summary: The main function of this role is to enhance the user experience for financial analysts using a web application that integrates sales and payment data. The goal is to streamline their interaction with the system, maFking data accessibility and error management smoother and more efficient.

Responsibilities:

• Understand analysts' daily work and identify obstacles in the current system.

• Propose improvements for user experience instead of replicating existing interfaces.

• Design user navigation and task completion paths within the application.

• Facilitate clarity in presenting complex financial data.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and accessible designs.

• Test designs with users and refine them based on feedback.

• Provide developers with clear specifications and review the final interface.

Must Haves:

• Strong professional experience designing internal web applications for business users.

• Experience defining user experience from research through developer handover.

• Ability to differentiate user needs from habits imposed by existing systems.

• Design experience focusing on efficiency and accuracy.

• Strong interaction and visual design skills for presenting complex data.

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.

• Experience with user interviews and usability testing.

• Good knowledge of web accessibility.

• Effective communication of design decisions to stakeholders.

• Experience creating and managing design systems.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in replacing enterprise software with more user-friendly applications.

• Experience designing financial or business-critical applications.

• Expertise in creating data-heavy interfaces with tables and filters.

• Experience defining the scope for internal applications alongside reporting and dashboard tools.
