Summary
Configure and maintain UKG Workforce Management modules, design employee scheduling, set up workflows, and generate HR documents for clients in industries like retail or healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Management
- Configure and maintain UKG Workforce Management modules.
- Design and configure employee scheduling and rostering.
- Configure shift patterns, work rules, pay rules, and scheduling policies.
- Support leave, availability, and time management processes.
Workflow Configuration
- Configure workflow approvals for HR and workforce management transactions.
- Design approval hierarchies and routing rules.
- Configure notifications, alerts, and escalations.
- Troubleshoot workflow issues and recommend improvements.
Document Generation
- Configure document and letter templates.
- Generate employment-related documents such as contracts, roster notifications, and employee correspondence.
- Ensure document templates comply with organisational standards.
System Configuration
- Configure organisational structures, locations, departments, jobs, and security roles.
- Configure business rules and validation rules.
- Maintain system configuration documentation.
- Perform configuration migration across environments.
Testing & Support
- Prepare test scenarios and execute functional testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Investigate and resolve production issues.
- Provide post-implementation support.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and analyse business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into UKG solutions.
- Conduct workshops with business users.
- Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation.
- Ensure solutions align with UKG best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of UKG (formerly Kronos) implementation and configuration experience.
- Strong experience with UKG Workforce Management.
- Experience configuring:

- Employee Self-Service (ESS)
- Manager Self-Service (MSS)
- Security Roles

- Experience supporting HR and Payroll business processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and solution documentation.
- Experience conducting testing and UAT.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management or UKG Ready.
- Experience integrating UKG with HRIS and Payroll systems.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and system integrations.
- Experience working in retail, healthcare, logistics, or large workforce environments.
- Agile project delivery experience.
