Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and proactive Senior Unity Game Programmer (Mobile Games, Unity engine) to join the team in creating prototypes for new hypercasual / hybridcasual game ideas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible in developing scalable and high performance games and features, fine-tuning gameplay based on real-time advertising and user engagement metrics.
This challenging role requires a mix of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement rapid prototypes of mobile games to validate new concepts and gameplay mechanics.
- Collaborate with your teams of developers, designers and artists to iterate quickly on game prototypes.
- Make timely adjustments to game prototypes based on data insights to optimize user acquisition, retention and monetization.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies related to mobile game development and advertising.
Job Requirements:
- Degree / Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with at least 4 or more years in the game industry, preferably doing casual games, and possess experience with Unity engine.
- Strong programming skills in Unity/C# development.
- Knowledge of source control tools such as Git.
- Familiarity with OOP, Design Patterns.
- Ability to write clean and readable code that can support rapid iteration.
Good to have (optional):
- Prior experience in hypercasual, hybrid-casual or casual mobile game genres.
- Proven experience in mobile game development, particularly in rapid prototyping and iterative design.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for mobile games.
