Job Description:

We are looking for a Principal User Experience Designer to join our Bengaluru UX team in building innovative products that our customer's don’t just use, but love. You will use your passion for creating world-class user experiences to shape the direction of our suite of cloud offering. You will collaborate with product managers to define the overall UX. You will use your gift for inspiring teams of design and development professionals to engage and delight our users.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Excellent user interface and visual design skills.
• Exceptionally strong conceptualization capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Ensure the experience vision is guided by business and market requirements and driven by experience insights
• Demonstrated ability to interpret and empathize with the user, to simplify the process, and to interpret that into a systematic user-centered UX solution
• An exceptional understanding of fundamental design disciplines (typography, composition, color and animation) and principals (affordance, clustering, progressive disclosure, consistency, etc...)
• Collaborate with and guide internal partner teams
• Drive and represent design direction to team members, senior management, and key stakeholders
• Direct and develop UX artifacts including streamlined scenarios, storyboards, information architecture, wireframes, visuals and interactive prototypes
• Understand the array of technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements that shape customer-focused service products
• Proven industry experience including working with product/design teams through at least one full development cycle
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Proficient in software tools needed to complete the projects successfully (For example: Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools)
• Solid academic background in human-computer interaction or related field. BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)
• Good hands on experience in Front-end skills. HTML, CSS & JS

You are the Ultimate Super Star if you have:

• A UI/UX Patent or two.
• Expert HTML and RIA skills (HTML5 a big plus).
• Knowledge of JavaScript for rapid prototyping purposes.
