Requirements:
  • Significant experience conducting discovery-focused UX research
  • Strong experience with qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
  • Experience planning and executing UX interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Ability to translate research findings into actionable insights
  • Experience working with Product and Design teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience researching AI-powered products or tools
  • Experience within scientific, pharmaceutical or research-focused environments
  • Familiarity with Jobs To Be Done (JTBD) methodologies
Responsibilities:
  • Leading discovery-focused UX research initiatives
  • Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative research
  • Running interviews, usability testing and UX surveys
  • Identifying user needs and uncovering opportunities for innovation
  • Collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers and stakeholders
  • Examining analytics data to support research strategies
  • Communicating findings and recommendations in a clear and engaging way
  • Contributing to research operations and maintaining research repositories

We are supporting a global organisation at the forefront of scientific information and technology as they continue developing AI-powered products used within pharmaceutical research and early drug discovery. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior UX Researcher who enjoys tackling complex problems, influencing product direction, and helping shape innovative digital experiences in a rapidly evolving AI landscape. Working alongside Product Managers, Designers and Technology teams, you will play a key role in understanding user behaviours, needs and motivations, turning research insights into meaningful product decisions. This is a London Wall hybrid contract role with occasional travel to collaborate with the team, a 35-hour week, and a two-stage interview process.
