Senior UX/UI Designer
What you will do
- Own end-to-end design projects, delivering comprehensive solutions from user requirements and information architecture to task flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity, production-ready interfaces.
- Translate complex business objectives and customer needs into clear, effective, and accessible design solutions.
- Actively participate in research activities, discovery workshops, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Contribute to the evolution of Vodafone’s global design system, ensuring consistency with brand, accessibility, and quality standards.
- Deliver clear and persuasive design presentations to senior stakeholders, confidently articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Engineers, and fellow Designers to ensure feasibility, quality, and seamless delivery.
- Champion customer advocacy by ensuring journeys are intuitive, inclusive, and engaging across web and mobile platforms.
- Support and mentor junior designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance on design activities.
- Experiment with AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, innovation, and design outcomes.
Who you are
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with confidence collaborating daily with UK-based and international teams.
- A design professional with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in a combined UX/UI or Product Design role.
- Highly proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, with strong technical execution skills.
- In possession of a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of digital products across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
- Deeply experienced in user-centred design principles, applying research insights and working within complex design systems.
- Detail-oriented, ensuring all deliverables are polished, brand-aligned, and ready for development.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining collaborative and proactive.
- A clear problem-solver who values feedback, can manage ambiguity, and provides well-reasoned design recommendations.
- Experienced in integrating AI applications into design workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.
- Motivated by mentorship and knowledge sharing, actively supporting peers and contributing to global design communities
