Senior Veterinarian ICU and Hospitalization

About the role

At the Hospital Clínico Veterinario of the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, we are looking for a veterinarian with knowledge and interest in hospitalization, emergencies, and intensive care, with the ability to work in a team, who knows how to remain calm in moments of crisis and who has good communication with animal owners.

What you'll do

• Have a rotating internship or demonstrable experience of 3 years in emergency/hospitalization in a veterinary hospital.
• Be able to lead a small team composed of a junior veterinarian and students during the shift.
• Have knowledge regarding management of the most frequent emergencies
• Have proficiency in Qvet software, preparation of clinical reports, and writing of clinical rounds.

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine
• Ability to work in a team and lead junior profiles/students.
• Clear and empathetic communication skills
