Summary/objective

The Senior Vice President, Channel Sales leads isolved's channel sales organization, setting the strategic direction for partner-sourced revenue growth and overseeing the teams responsible for regional, national, and accountant-focused channel partnerships. This role builds and scales high-performing channel sales teams, drives strategic partner engagement across multiple regions and partner types, and contributes to broader company strategy at the senior leadership level.

Core Job Duties

  • Set the strategic direction for isolved's channel sales organization, including regional, national, and accountant-focused partner channels.
  • Lead, grow, and mentor channel sales leaders and managers to support strategic external partnerships and drive core revenue streams for the business.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies by segment and geography, creating and presenting high-level sales plans, setting ambitious milestones, measuring performance, and being accountable for overall results.
  • Establish and communicate mutual goals and objectives, building strong awareness and support for the strategic benefits of isolved's alliances at the executive level.
  • Formulate and oversee the execution of detailed business plans with each partner, ensuring alignment with broader company objectives and successful implementation.
  • Provide strategic insight and collaborate closely with senior leadership, contributing to company-wide decisions and the overall direction of the business.
  • Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, driving results across a cross-functional organization where direct control is not always present.
  • Define and enforce rules of engagement and establish operational escalation procedures to promptly identify and resolve issues with partners.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability across the channel sales organization, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic vision.
  • Monitor market and competitive dynamics across the partner ecosystem to inform channel strategy and identify new partnership opportunities.

Job Complexity

Guides and inspires others to work with abstract ideas or situations across functional areas of the business. Sets strategy and guides senior leaders in identifying and evaluating fundamental issues and direction for business unit(s). Requires in-depth knowledge of the business unit, business strategies, and the company's goals.

Interaction

Interacts internally and externally with executive and C-Level level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking.

Supervision

Directs and controls the activities of one or more business unit, division, product groups or service areas through senior leaders who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas. Clear expertise as a leader and operator.

Experience

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of direct experience, with 10+ years of leadership experience. May require advanced degree.

Scope

Sets direction, strategy, and vision for business unit(s). Holds senior leaders accountable for results. Helps shape, exemplify, and hold senior leaders accountable to the management standards of the company. Approves corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation. Inspires senior leaders to develop innovative concepts and promote new ideas. Drives meaningful impact and improvements across multiple functions or business units; strategically plans for how people and processes scale.

Erroneous decisions will have a significant long-term effect on the company's success.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 12+ years of experience in Channel Sales or Channel Management, with significant leadership experience.
  • Extensive industry network with deep experience in SaaS-based solutions Partner Channel Sales.
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and execute strategy at an executive level in a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated experience producing measurable results in influenced revenue or Channel Sales at scale.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Travel Required

Yes, up to 15% domestic travel may be required.
