Senior Video Editor - Contractor

Embed with the creative team and lead video post production across projects. Conceive and execute post production work, design and deliver product and marketing video campaigns, edit short-form content, manage complex projects, collaborate with stakeholders, build looks and motion graphics, maintain 4K workflows, and present work with clear rationale.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative conception and execution of post production projects
• Design and deliver product and marketing video campaigns
• Edit short-form content including TikTok
• Manage multiple complex post production projects
• Communicate conceptual ideas and art direction
• Collaborate with creative and non-creative teams
• Build looks and motion graphics from scratch
• Maintain 4K workflows and ensure quality control
• Present work and provide production rationale

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with 4K workflows and varied edit styles
• 8+ years of professional experience managing live-action and animated post production
• Stellar online portfolio with live examples and detailed role descriptions
• Broad experience across video styles, plugins, grading, and overlays
• Strong Adobe Creative Suite experience including Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Ability to build looks and motion from scratch
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely full time
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve is nice to have
