Senior Vision Solution Engineer [Automation] -C++ / Python / OpenCV
Summary
Senior engineer who designs, builds, and maintains industrial machine-vision systems (measurement, defect inspection, presence detection) for an automation company in Singapore's North Region. Day to day involves configuring cameras, lighting, frame grabbers, and host PCs, and coding vision applications in C++, C#, or Python.
Salary: $6,000 – $7,500 per month

Job Responsibilities
System Development: Develop, analyze, and maintain vision applications, including measurement, defect inspection, component presence detection, and related functions.
Component Procurement & Integration: Evaluate, select, procure, install, and maintain vision-related components (e.g., PCs, cameras, lighting) tailored to project requirements.
System Configuration: Configure complete vision systems—including host PCs, frame grabbers, cameras, illumination, motion control, and communication interfaces—to ensure optimal performance.
Technical Support: Provide expert technical support to field service engineers and end customers.
Documentation & Training: Establish performance standards, prepare technical documentation, and conduct user/team training.
Technology Innovation: Explore and integrate emerging vision technologies into relevant project workflows
Requirements
Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
Experience in practical experience in vision applications.
Experience with programming languages relevant to vision applications (e.g., C++, C#, or Python).
Good understanding of TCP/IP, RS-232, and camera interfaces
