Work Location - Remote (DHS treats remote network access as a privilege rather than a contractual guarantee, allowing work at assigned or other designated locations).
Security Clearance - U.S. Citizenship Required; Ability to complete DHS suitability, background investigation, and Entry-on-Duty requirements.

Objective Summary
We are seeking an enterprise Senior Web Designer / Developer / Drupal / Section 508 expert to maintain and optimize public website environments supporting critical data dissemination. This critical technical role focuses on publishing high-visibility statistical content, maintaining robust system configurations, and enforcing stringent accessibility parameters across public federal domains. The ideal candidate must possess an extensive professional chronology demonstrating roughly 7+ years of web development work. This timeline should showcase deep, recent hands-on programming and system administration mastery within a secure Drupal infrastructure.
This expert will manage deployment lifecycles, perform vital security patches, execute code updates, and lead remediation workflows to maintain absolute digital compliance.
Mandatory Compliance Metrics

- Resume must explicitly reflect 7+ years of total web development experience with extensive, verified production work administering core Drupal environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience identifying, testing, and remediating WCAG Level A/AA findings, keyboard navigation issues, and screen-reader accessibility defects.
- Must accept a production posture capable of managing the full change request process, environment deployments, and continuous system monitoring within federal parameters.
- Maintain public websites by posting new reports, statistical tables, and interactive data visualizations utilizing compliant web architecture.
- Execute core software upgrades, manage custom module patches, and maintain system security postures through proactive administration.
- Monitor public-facing environments to remediate discovered software vulnerabilities, perform code updates, and resolve functional bug tickets.
- Remediate Section 508 and WCAG compliance gaps, optimizing focus order, alt text, form labels, and table layouts for assistive technologies.
- Navigate formal Change Request processes to orchestrate smooth code promotions across development, testing, and live production environments.
- Engineer clean, semantic web layouts utilizing structured HTML5, CSS stylesheets, JavaScript frameworks, and customized Drupal template engines.
- Perform systematic regression testing, software validation routines, and complete quality assurance evaluations prior to code releases.
- Expert level knowledge of Drupal administration, module development, Composer dependencies, and Drush command line operations.
- Complete mastery of core front-end languages including semantic HTML5, modern CSS layouts, JavaScript, and PHP/Twig template architectures.
- Advanced familiarity implementing Git source control versioning, software troubleshooting methods, and continuous integration pipelines.
- Programmatic understanding of embedding external analytics packages or responsive data visualization dashboards into web frameworks.
- Comprehensive mastery of federal Section 508 standards, WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA success criteria, and complete Accessibility Conformance Reports.
- Direct experience generating Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates and managing Trusted Tester web methodology protocols.
- Knowledge of federal information security requirements, cyber-supply chain risk management protocols, and PII safeguarding guidelines.
- Possession of a formal DHS Trusted Tester certification or extensive verified experience utilizing Trusted Tester automation suites.
- Prior domain background administering or modernizing high-visibility public-sector digital environments or civilian agency web architectures.
- Experience aligning web delivery systems with automated CI/CD pipeline triggers and secure cloud configuration environments.
