Senior Web Developer - AI-First Development

Salary: £50,000 - 70,000 per year

Requirements:

• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte
• Backend development experience in at least one language, such as Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Go, or C#
• Experience working with APIs, relational databases, and cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, and modern deployment practices
• Ability to consider systems holistically, including performance, security, and reliability
• Practical experience using Claude for programming efficiency and tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar
• Understanding of where AI adds value in the software development lifecycle
• Interest in LLM APIs, RAG, or automation is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain features end-to-end, from user interfaces through APIs and databases to deployment
• Work across multiple parts of the technology stack
• Contribute to technical and architectural decisions
• Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, documentation, and delivery
• Help improve development practices as tools and technologies evolve
