Boardroom Appointments is recruiting on behalf of an innovative technology organisation seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team.

This is a hands‑on development role for a passionate senior developer who thrives on building modern, secure, and scalable web applications. You'll play a key role in shaping frontend architecture, solving complex technical challenges, mentoring fellow developers, and delivering exceptional user experiences using the latest technologies.

Working within an Agile environment, you'll collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, Backend Developers, and Dev Ops teams to deliver high-quality digital products that are secure, maintainable, and built for scale.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React, Type Script, and the Tan Stack ecosystem. Build reusable, responsive, and accessible user interface components. Design scalable frontend architecture while promoting clean, maintainable, and high-quality code. Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services. Optimise application performance, accessibility, and overall user experience. Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior and intermediate developers. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges. Contribute to solution design, technical planning, estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Champion engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles. Minimum Requirements Minimum 6 years' experience in frontend web development. Expert knowledge of React, Type Script, and modern Java Script (ES6+). Strong experience working with the Tan Stack ecosystem, including: Tan Stack Router Tan Stack Query Tan Stack Table Tan Stack Virtual (advantageous) Experience building responsive, cross‑browser compatible web applications. Strong understanding of component‑based architecture and reusable design systems. Experience integrating RESTful APIs. Experience implementing authentication using JWT and OAuth. Experience with state management solutions such as Tan Stack Query, Zustand, or Redux Toolkit. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or SCSS. Experience improving application performance and implementing accessibility best practices. Technical Skills Candidates should demonstrate experience with: React Type Script Java Script (ES6+) HTML5 & CSS3 Tailwind CSS / SCSS / CSS Modules RESTful APIs Git Git Hub, Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops Agile / Scrum methodologies CI/CD pipelines Clean code principles Modern frontend architecture A solid understanding of frontend security principles is essential, including: Cross‑Site Scripting (XSS) prevention Cross‑Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protection Content Security Policy (CSP) Secure token handling Clickjacking protection Dependency security Secure authentication and authorisation practices Advantageous Experience:

Experience with any of the following will be highly beneficial:

Graph QL Storybook Design Systems Playwright Cypress Jest Docker Azure or AWS Micro‑frontend architecture Frontend telemetry, monitoring, and logging tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Open Telemetry, Application Insights, or New Relic. What We're Looking For:
