Senior Web Developer

About the role

End-to-end full-stack web development role involving design, build, and maintenance of scalable, robust web applications and real-time microservices. You will develop modern interactive user interfaces, manage cloud infrastructure, and lead technical initiatives across the stack.

Key responsibilities

• End-to-End Web Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust full-stack web applications and real-time microservices using Java Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, PHP, and React.

• Frontend & Real-Time Engineering: Develop modern interactive user interfaces with React/JavaScript and implement real-time bidirectional communication features.

• Infrastructure & Cloud Operations: Manage Cloud infrastructure on AWS, perform server configurations, deploy environments, and manage domain/SSL security certificates.

• System & Environment Management: Setup, configure, and maintain virtual machines/devices, web servers (e.g., Nginx, Apache), and staging/production deployment pipelines.

• System Integration & Database Operations: Integrate backend services via RESTful APIs, WebSockets/Socket.IO, and manage relational database schemas and queries.

• Security & Performance: Implement web application security practices (e.g., HTTPS/SSL, CORS, access control) and optimize application performance and response times.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web application development.

• Strong proficiency in Backend & Real-Time Technologies:

• Solid experience in Java (Spring Boot), alongside experience with Node.js, Python (e.g., Django / Flask), and/or PHP.

• Hands-on experience in real-time event-driven architecture using WebSocket and Socket.IO.

• Strong proficiency in Frontend Technologies: Hands-on experience in React, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and HTML5/CSS3.

• Hands-on Cloud & Server Management: Practical experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) and Linux server administration.

• DevOps & Security Setup: Proficient in installing and configuring SSL/TLS certificates, Web Servers (Nginx/Apache), and virtual device / VM environments.

• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL) and API design (RESTful APIs / JSON).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills across both software, real-time networking, and infrastructure layers.

• Self-motivated team player with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Unity 3D development or integrating Web-to-Unity interactive systems.

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Basic knowledge of Web Application Security standards (OWASP) and vulnerability scanning.
