Senior Web Engineer (contract)

In this role you will help transform how customers interact with Dojo by building a scalable frontend platform for the customer apps suite. You will collaborate with design and product teams to deliver intuitive features across domains like device management and loyalty. You’ll contribute to a collaborative web engineering culture, mentor juniors, and drive technical direction. Expect to work in an office-first, cross-functional environment focused on high-quality user experiences and rapid feature delivery. You will shape the customer experience at a fast-growing payments company.

• Technically design and develop new product features using modern frontend technologies, with high-quality, well-tested code
• Collaborate with design and product teams to define user experiences and technical requirements
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and team planning to steer technical direction
• Contribute to the Web Chapter and mentor junior colleagues in best practices

• Professional frontend experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, state management, patterns, and hooks
• Experience with web testing frameworks (Jest or Cypress) and CSS-in-JS (Vanilla Extract or Emotion)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and integrating GraphQL with frontend systems
• Passion for product quality and cross-functional collaboration; strong communication
