Senior Web Engineer
You will build Incode's visual fraud investigation platform from the ground up. You will design and implement an interactive graph explorer and embeddable graph visualizations, translate UI/UX designs into responsive interactive interfaces, integrate with backend services and REST APIs, optimize web performance and cross-browser behavior, implement web security best practices, participate in code reviews, and continuously improve the frontend architecture and developer tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications
- Implement interactive graph explorer and embeddable graph visualizations
- Translate UI/UX designs into responsive interactive user experiences
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate backend services and REST APIs to ensure reliable data flow
- Implement web security best practices to protect application and data
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high code quality
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven expertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
- Experience with Git, CLI workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies; experience with tools like Jira or Notion
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with fluency in English
- Nice to have: experience with WebGL or canvas-based rendering for large-scale graph layouts
- Nice to have: exposure to fraud, IDV, KYC, or AML product domains
- Nice to have: knowledge of graph data structures and traversal algorithms
- Nice to have: backend experience with Java or Kotlin and the Spring framework
- Nice to have: knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
