Senior Windows Server Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windows Server Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role is critical in supporting our infrastructure and providing reliable services to our organization. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy. - Oversee Domain Controller Management and ensure proper configuration and security protocols are in place. - Administer File Server Management and Distributed File System (DFS) to ensure data availability and integrity. - Implement and manage virtualization technologies using VMware to optimize resource utilization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues promptly. - Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure high availability and reliability of services. - Develop and maintain documentation related to server configurations, procedures, and policies. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance server management practices. Required Skills: - Strong expertise in Windows Server Administration and management. - Proficient in DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Active Directory. - Experience with Domain Controller Management and File Server Management. - Knowledge of VMware and Microsoft Clustering Services. - Familiarity with Wintel Active Directory and related technologies. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
