Senior WordPress Designer
Summary
Design and maintain 200+ restaurant websites using WordPress page builders, ensuring speed, consistency, and client-ready results while communicating directly with restaurant owners.
Requirements
- 3+ years building WordPress sites, at senior level.
- A portfolio of 20+ design-focused builds with live links. Range matters. Twenty versions of the same layout counts as one.
- Excellent written and spoken English. You'll write client emails with nobody reviewing them first.
- Advanced Elementor: theme builder, global styles, templates, custom CSS inside the builder
Strong CSS3 and HTML5. If the builder can't do it, you can.
- Gutenberg blocks and patterns, plus Divi.
- Real experience running many sites at once — agency, multisite or portfolio.
- AI tools already in your daily workflow.
- Be ready to tell us which ones and what they actually saved you.
- WooCommerce, ACF, and the usual plugin ecosystem (forms, SEO, caching, security, backups)
- Chrome DevTools and Query Monitor.
- Responsive, mobile-first, and you test on real devices.
- You can juggle several projects without dropping one.
- Figma, especially if you can make your own mock-ups and not just read them.
- Light JavaScript and jQuery.
- Enough PHP to read a snippet and debug a conflict (writing custom themes and plugins is not part of this job).
- Cloudflare, managed WordPress hosting, WP Rocket or LiteSpeed.
- Technical SEO, Analytics, Search Console.
- Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva for quick asset work.
- Restaurant or hospitality sites.
- GDPR and cookie consent for EU clients.
Benefits
- A young, sharp, friendly team that cares about quality.
- Real ownership. You design the solution, you work with stakeholders, you ship it.
- Overseas clients and overseas exposure.
- Recognition when you do good work, from people who can tell the difference.
- Provident Fund, insurance, and genuine room to grow.
