Senior Workday Consultant
Summary
A senior freelance/contract Workday consultant role in Copenhagen advising HR leadership and delivering hands-on configuration in Workday Talent modules, especially Performance Management and Compensation. It is a part-time Time & Material engagement (8–10 hrs/week) through emagine, running to 31.12.2026 with at least one fixed onsite day per week.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Workday Consultant to provide strategic advisory support and hands‑on expertise within Workday Talent modules. The consultant will work closely with HR and People & Culture teams to strengthen Workday capabilities, optimise processes, and ensure best‑practice utilisation of key talent functionalities.
The role requires a senior Workday specialist with deep functional knowledge, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently at a strategic level.
Main Responsibilities
Provide strategic Workday advisory to HR leadership and key stakeholders.
Lead enhancements and optimisation within Workday Talent Space, including:
Performance Management
Compensation
Review and improve existing Workday processes, workflows, and configurations.
Support alignment of Workday capabilities with organisational goals and talent strategy.
Conduct impact assessments and propose best‑practice solutions for new Workday features.
Collaborate with HR, IT, and external partners for smooth implementation and adoption.
Provide guidance on Workday governance, documentation, and change management.
Deliver hands‑on configuration within Talent modules.
Key Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Senior Workday Consultant.
Strong expertise in Workday Talent Space, including performance, compensation, and talent processes.
Proven experience advising HR leadership at a strategic and operational level.
Solid understanding of Workday configuration, optimisation, and best‑practice design.
Experience working in complex, international organisations.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Must be able to work onsite a minimum of one fixed day per week (or as agreed).
