SEO Performance Manager
About the role
We’re hiring an experienced SEO Performance Manager to lead the performance of a group of sites.
You’ll choose priorities and take ideas from investigation through implementation and results, with data, developer and content support behind you. There are no clients or accounts, so decisions stay close to the work and good ideas can move quickly.
The role can be fully remote with good overlap with European working hours, or hybrid from our Balluta Bay office in Malta, right on the water, with panoramic sea views and a full-size private gym.
What you’ll do
- Lead SEO performance across assigned sites, from strategy and prioritisation through implementation and follow-up.
- Choose priorities based on the size of the opportunity, likely impact, effort and risk.
- Lead keyword strategy, site architecture, internal linking and on-page optimisation.
- Investigate problems involving crawling, indexing, templates, architecture and internal linking.
- Improve existing pages and decide where new pages, sections or launches are worth the effort.
- Turn ideas into tests, involve the right developers and content specialists, and remain close to the work until it is live and measured.
- Monitor rankings, traffic, conversion and revenue, investigate unexpected changes and adjust the plan when results move in the wrong direction.
- Use AI to improve research, analysis, implementation and quality checks while remaining responsible for the final decision and output.
- Share useful methods and give feedback to more junior SEOs as the role develops.
What we’re looking for
- At least three years of hands-on SEO, ideally in iGaming, affiliate or another competitive search market.
- Examples of choosing between competing SEO opportunities when time or resources were limited.
- Experience diagnosing a meaningful traffic or ranking problem and identifying the underlying cause.
- At least one test or improvement that you took from an initial idea through implementation and measurement.
- A clear understanding of how rankings, traffic, conversion and revenue relate to one another.
- A solid technical SEO foundation, including crawling, indexing, architecture, internal linking and on-page optimisation.
- Confident using Google Search Console, analytics, crawling and backlink tools to investigate performance and make decisions. We care about what you can determine with the tools, not which brand you have used.
- Experience working directly with developers on technical changes.
- Comfortable using AI in practical SEO work, or able to learn new technical tools quickly.
- Based in Malta on a hybrid schedule, or fully remote with good overlap with European working hours.
Useful, but not essential
- Experience with WordPress, large websites or site migrations.
- Experience improving conversion as well as rankings and traffic.
- Experience guiding junior colleagues or working with external specialists.
- Basic HTML, CSS, SQL or scripting skills.
What success looks like after six months
You have a clear plan for your sites, have shipped several meaningful improvements and have shown that you can choose priorities, learn from results and change course when the evidence requires it.
Why join Paradise Media

- Receive a competitive salary and 27 days of paid annual leave, plus public holidays.
- Work fully remote or from our Malta office. The office has a full-size gym, personal trainers, Secretlab gaming chairs, 49-inch monitors, fresh fruit and vegetables, and the sea outside the window.
