SEO Specialist (Junior–Middle)

Open 20d

We're hiring a Full-Time SEO Specialist (Junior–Middle) to help optimize, debug, and scale our website at Lingopie.

You'll work on the technical health of our site — making sure it's fast, crawlable, and well-structured — while growing into owning parts of our SEO strategy. You'll support audits, run keyword research, fix issues, and collaborate with our Organic, Paid, Social, and Product teams. This is a hands-on role with room to grow, including exposure to newer areas like generative engine optimization.

🟠 Responsibilities
Run technical SEO audits, competitor analysis, and keyword research (with guidance from senior team members).
Monitor and fix crawl issues, broken links, redirects, and indexation problems.
Help optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, and overall site performance.
Maintain clean site architecture and internal linking.
Write clear technical requirements and work with developers to implement fixes.
Set up and monitor ongoing site health checks.
Prepare weekly and monthly SEO reports with KPIs, insights, and recommendations.
Collaborate with design, dev, and content teams to ship improvements.
Support our Reddit team on generative SEO growth initiatives.
Keep up with search trends, algorithm updates, and new SEO tools.

🟠 Requirements
1–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (technical and on-page).
Some experience growing organic traffic or rankings — ideally in the US market.
Working knowledge of SEO tools: Google Analytics/GA4, Search Console, and at least one of SEMrush, Ahrefs, SE Ranking, or Screaming Frog.
Basic ability to audit a site and write simple technical requirements for developers.
Understanding of Core Web Vitals and on-page SEO fundamentals.
Organized, analytical, curious, and eager to learn and grow in SEO.
Familiarity with generative/AI search optimization.
