Server Administrator
Position Overview
The System Administrator is responsible for administering and supporting physical security systems and the underlying IT infrastructure within data center environments. This role focuses on maintaining the availability, reliability, and performance of security platforms such as CCTV/VMS, Access Control, and Key Management systems, as well as the supporting Windows Server, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and support physical security systems, including CCTV/VMS, Access Control, and Key Management platforms.
Manage and maintain the supporting Windows Server infrastructure, including system monitoring, patching, backups, and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve system and infrastructure issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Support virtualization and storage environments that host security platforms.
Perform basic network troubleshooting related to security systems, including IP, VLAN, and connectivity issues.
Execute system maintenance, upgrades, firmware updates, and security remediation activities.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and incident records.
Collaborate with Security, Facilities, Data Center Operations, vendors, and local technicians to support daily operations and continuous improvements.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in System Administration, Infrastructure Operations, or Physical Security Systems.
Strong experience with Windows Server administration, patching, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
Hands-on experience with CCTV/VMS, Access Control, or Key Management systems. Experience with Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, or Traka is a plus.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, routing, and firewalls.
Familiarity with incident management, change control, and technical documentation.
Good communication skills in both Thai and English and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
