Server Administrator

Role & responsibilities

Manage Linux and Windows servers, both physical and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM).
Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and applications.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply timely fixes.
Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Ensure network security, patch management, and compliance with company policies.
Automate server tasks using scripts
Maintain and monitor firewall, DNS, DHCP, mail servers, and web hosting environments.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) and Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
Proficiency in troubleshooting networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
Experience with cloud platforms
