Object Technology Solutions, Inc (OTSI) has an immediate opening for a Server Administrator – Level 2

Server Administrator – Level 2 (Hyderabad)

Experience: 5+ Years

MAJOR RESPOSIBILITIES

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments and virtual infrastructure.
  

• Manage and support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and related technologies.
  

• Implement automation and configuration management using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  

• Manage OS-level security, hardening standards, and compliance requirements.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex server, virtualization, and infrastructure incidents
  

• Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, bench marking, and resource optimization.
  

• Manage server hardware, BIOS configurations, firmware updates, and lifecycle maintenance.
  

• Monitor infrastructure health and recommend improvements for reliability and scalability.
  

• Maintain documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery processes.
  

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
  

• Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization technologies.
  

• Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  

• Knowledge of server security, hardening, patch management, and compliance practices.
  

• Ability to perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  

• Understanding of server hardware, storage, and performance optimization.
  

• Familiarity with monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
  

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  

CERTIFICATIONS (PREFERRED)

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
  

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
  

• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
  

• CompTIA Server+
  

• ITIL Foundation Certification
  

• Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate / AWS Certified SysOps Administrator (Preferred)
