Grand Central Bowling, Arcade & Sports Bar is looking for energetic, personable Servers who love hospitality and know how to create memorable guest experiences.

Grand Central isn’t your typical restaurant. We bring together bowling, arcade games, sports, food, drinks, parties and events in one high-energy environment. Our servers play a huge role in making sure every guest feels welcomed, taken care of, and excited to come back.

What You’ll Do

As a Grand Central Server, you’ll be responsible for delivering friendly, knowledgeable and efficient service while helping create the fun atmosphere our guests come to Grand Central to experience.

You’ll:

• Greet guests with a welcoming, positive attitude
• Provide attentive and engaging service throughout the guest experience
• Learn our food and beverage menus and confidently answer guest questions
• Make thoughtful food and drink recommendations
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS
• Check back with guests and anticipate their needs
• Deliver food and beverages accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized tables and service areas
• Handle guest payments accurately
• Communicate effectively with bartenders, kitchen team members, hosts and managers
• Work with a sense of urgency during busy sporting events, parties and peak business periods
• Assist teammates when needed to provide a seamless guest experience
• Follow responsible alcohol-service requirements and company standards
• Complete opening, running and closing responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong guest-service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable learning food, beer, wine, cocktails and other beverage offerings
• Professional, dependable and team-oriented
• Must meet applicable requirements to serve alcoholic beverages
• Evening and weekend availability preferred
