Server New Restaurant Carletto

Set to open in Ottawa this summer, Carletto is the latest restaurant from Gray Collection, bringing the elegance and warmth of Italy to Ottawa. Inspired by traditional Italian gatherings and the simple pleasure of good food, the restaurant blends authentic cuisine with a contemporary spirit. Featuring fresh pasta, wood-fired pizzas, and carefully selected ingredients, each dish celebrates sharing and generosity.
The Server provides attentive and efficient food and beverage service while ensuring a positive and seamless dining experience. They follow service standards, interact with guests, and support overall dining room operations. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

RESPONSABILITIES

Set up the dining room before service begins
Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service
Present menus, advise guests, and take orders accurately
Enter orders into the POS system
Serve food and beverages according to established standards
Check in regularly with guests to ensure satisfaction
Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly
Process billing and payments accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service areas, and restrooms
Clear and reset tables efficiently
Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and team members to ensure smooth service
Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of one (1) year experience in food service
Excellent customer service skills
Strong interest in teamwork
Ability to work under pressure
Good organizational skills
Flexible schedule with availability on evenings, weekends and holidays
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
Valid work permit required
