Server

Purpose: To wait on tables promptly, courteously and to serve the guest in any way possible.
Essential Functions:

Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service
Set tables according to type of event and service standards
Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections
Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests
Record transaction in MICROS system at time of order
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage
Present accurate check to guest and process payment
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
Clean and set up tables
Complete opening & closing duties
Servicing all guests in the dining room in every way possible, ensuring the best possible experience in hopes that they will return.
To properly set up entire restaurant
To have complete understanding of server standards.
To have complete understanding of the menu.

Qualifications:

1-year upscale serving experience required.
Must agree and adhere to compensation acknowledgment and tip reporting guidelines.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, members, management and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
Must be able to work flexible shift including weekends, and holidays.
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire shift, up to 8 hours.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50lbs without assistance.
To have a complete understanding of beverage offerings.
To ring orders accurately in POS system.
To deliver food and beverage accurately to tables and in a timely manner.
Be friendly and helpful with all guests. Use surnames whenever possible.
Run food to all sections of the restaurant.
To complete all assigned duties begore checking out and clocking out.
Inspecting and manicuring one’s station in the restaurant to ensure that it is immaculate in both cleanliness and presentation.
Station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
Perform any other duties assigned by the F&B manager.
Shift accounting, printing reports at the end of the shift and banking out.

Pay rate: $21.07/hour
