The Server is responsible for providing the highest level of dining and beverage service to members of The Garlands of Barrington. We work to build trusted relationships with our community members while providing a consistent high-quality dining experience.
Job Responsibilities for Professional Server:
- Interact with members in our Exclusive Restaurants, Dining areas or Conference Rooms to ensure satisfaction, build relationships and create the highest level of a dining experience
- Ensure that the presentation and sequencing of food, table settings, and surroundings meet and exceed the expectations of members
- Describe menu selections and wine pairings, answer questions and seek additional information from our Executive Chef
- Input data into POS system.
- Provide additional assistance to customers as needed (e.g., walk Member back to apartment/villa, bring food to them when they are not feeling well, etc.).
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness of dining rooms and serving areas
