You will be involving…
Linux System Administration
Provide day-to-day administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Linux server environments (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE, or equivalent).
Manage system installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution for Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and minimising downtime.
Cloud Platform Support
Support the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or private cloud platforms).
Assist in cloud migration activities, including workload assessment, provisioning, and post-migration validation.
Monitor cloud resources, cost utilisation, and security configurations, escalating anomalies as appropriate.
Email Infrastructure Support
Provide support and troubleshooting for enterprise email infrastructure and messaging systems.
Perform mail flow analysis and troubleshooting, including email delivery, routing, relay, spam filtering, and mailbox-related issues.
Hands-on experience supporting enterprise email platforms such as Lotus Notes (HCL Domino), Coremail, or similar messaging systems.
Diagnose and resolve email service incidents, ensuring system stability and availability.
Work with internal teams and vendors on email system administration, maintenance, and issue resolution.
BAU Operations & Project Support
Participate in infrastructure-related project workstreams, including OS upgrades, server refreshes, and cloud adoption initiatives.
Contribute to automation efforts using scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ansible) to streamline repetitive operational tasks.
Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, including system diagrams, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
We are looking for…
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Linux system administration in an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise email environments.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Familiarity with SMTP, POP3, IMAP, DNS (MX records), and general messaging infrastructure is preferred.
ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
