Join the Food & Beverage team at The Shore and Country Club, a private waterfront club overlooking Norwalk Harbor and Long Island Sound. We are seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Servers who take pride in providing attentive hospitality and creating a welcoming experience for our members and guests.
Whether you have previous hospitality experience or are looking to continue building your skills, this is an opportunity to work in a professional, team-oriented environment while gaining valuable experience in private club dining, events, and hospitality.
We are currently hiring for full-time, part-time, and seasonal positions, with approximately 25–40 hours per week available. Weekend availability is required, along with evenings and some extended periods during the season.
What You'll Do
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests across Club dining outlets.
- Welcome members and guests, answer menu questions, and provide thoughtful recommendations.
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with Club service standards.
- Anticipate member and guest needs throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-prepared dining and service areas.
- Complete opening, closing, and assigned side-work responsibilities.
- Work closely with fellow Servers, Bartenders, and culinary staff to ensure efficient and seamless service.
- Assist with banquets, private events, and special Club functions.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.

- Previous restaurant, hospitality, banquet, or private club experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Private club, fine dining, or banquet experience is a plus.
- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
- TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
This is an active hospitality position that requires standing and walking for extended periods, bending and reaching, and the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
