Service Administrator
SUMMARY
The Service Administrator supports the Service Department with basic office and administrative tasks. This position helps keep records organized, enters information into company systems, assists with repair orders, answers calls, and helps customers and team members with service-related questions. This is an entry-level position for someone who is organized, dependable, and willing to learn.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide general administrative support to the Service Department by helping with records, repair orders, customer information, invoices, warranty paperwork, filing, and other daily office tasks.
· Enters and updates customer, vehicle, equipment, and service information in company systems.
· Helps create, update, and close repair orders.
· Assists with scheduling service appointments and providing updates to customers and team members.
· Helps process invoices, purchase orders, and customer paperwork.
· Assists with warranty paperwork and follows up on basic warranty information as directed.
· Files, scans, copies, and organizes service documents and records.
· Answers phone calls, takes messages, responds to basic questions, and directs calls to the correct person.
· Helps prepare simple reports, lists, and service-related documents.
· Keeps the work area organized and follows company procedures.
· Performs other administrative duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
