Daikin Applied is seeking a Service Business Analyst II who uses professional concepts as well as company policies and procedures to solve a wide range of complex problems in creative and practical ways through a broad application of principles, theories, and concepts. This person will support the various aspects of our remote service offices across North America. This role is responsible for a wide range of functions that include communication, problem-solving, salesforce.com, training and process improvements. The salesforce.com experience is intended to be a superuser working closely with service, not a technical salesforce.com administrator. What you will do:

  • Provide training on Salesforce and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) best practices and support for the field service offices

  • Develop Salesforce Reports and Dashboards

  • Supports Contract Lifecyle Management (CLM) workflows and template updates

  • Participates in the development of training materials, facilitates trainings, and supports change management initiatives relating to the service channel

  • Provides subject matter expertise for business customers and technical resources. Establishes awareness of business process and technology solution best practices for the Service Sales Process

  • Gathers and supports business requirements for enhancements and change request for Service

  • Participates in engaging with the business customers on business processes and practices associated with the Service Sales Process leveraging Salesforce.com, Salesforce Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM)

  • Participate in collection and analysis of data and information from business users to understand how systems can solve business problems and identifies opportunities for process improvement

  • Participates in the production and review (from content to final draft) of user guides, training classes, and other end-user documentation for applications and processes

  • Understands how to represent business processes, engaging customers appropriately in testing activities and lead training activities driving change management

  • Forges a network of beneficial relationships with all levels within the organization and customers in the Service channel establishing mutual trust. Initiates and develops working relationships with internal groups

  • Receives, solicits, and interprets information and facilitates communication at appropriate levels within Service and internal teams engaging in the preparation of documentation, presentations, and participating in meetings

  • Demonstrates fundamental skills of facilitation, influence, negotiation, mediation in discussions in order to achieve business goals and objectives

  • Acquires fundamental skills for managing conflict to move discussions about tradeoffs towards resolution and decision

  • Understands key business objectives and processes of Service Sales, specifically how those objectives relate to the business’ problems and needs, their tools and systems

  • Understands “customer context”, which consists of business processes and system tools which support customer needs in the Service Sales Process

  • Interact with third parties including application service providers and partners

  • Other duties as assigned

  • 35% travel requirement for this role

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

  • 5+ years of professional experience supporting a sales and service environment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio and Project

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Salesforce.com experience - Reports, dashboards, and intricate knowledge of how the platform can be utilized

  • Contract Lifecycle Management Experience

  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $73,300k - $120,700k in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
