Service Crew cum Cashier

Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a friendly, responsible, and service-oriented Service Crew cum Cashier to join our team at our Chinese restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing cash and payment transactions at the front counter.

Key Responsibilities:

Waitress Duties:

• Greet and seat customers in a warm and welcoming manner
• Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately
• Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
• Ensure tables are clean and properly set before and after service
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide recommendations
• Maintain a clean and orderly dining area

Cashier Duties:

• Handle all payment transactions using the POS system
• Issue receipts and return change to customers accurately
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
• Maintain records of transactions
• Handle take-away and delivery orders
• Answer phone calls and manage reservations when required

Requirements:

• Prior experience in F&B or customer service is preferred
• Basic knowledge of cashiering and handling POS systems
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, punctual, and well-groomed
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
