Service Crew / Service Staff – Japanese Fine Dining

Our client is an established fine-dining Japanese restaurant renowned for delivering an exceptional omakase dining experience. They are seeking service-oriented individuals to join their front-of-house team and provide attentive, professional and personalised service to guests.

• Welcome and attend to guests in a warm and professional manner.
• Prepare dining areas and table settings before lunch and dinner service.
• Provide attentive food and beverage service throughout the dining experience.
• Explain menu items, ingredients and dining concepts accurately to guests.
• Take and communicate guest requests and dietary requirements accurately.
• Coordinate closely with chefs and other service team members to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with beverage service and maintain appropriate beverage, glassware, linen and dining supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the restaurant and service areas.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Respond to guest requests and feedback professionally.
• Maintain the high service and hospitality standards expected within a fine-dining environment.
• Perform other restaurant operational duties as required.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in F&B, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Experience within a fine-dining, premium restaurant or Japanese dining environment would be an advantage.
• Basic Food Hygiene / Food Safety certification is preferred
• Strong service orientation with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional, attentive and comfortable interacting with guests.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team in a service-focused environment.
• Comfortable working shifts, evenings and public holidays where operationally required.
• Candidates with relevant fine-dining experience may be considered for a more senior service position

Working Schedule

• Shift-based schedule from Monday to Saturday.
• Restaurant operates for lunch and dinner service.
• Closed on Sundays.
• Actual working hours and rest days will be communicated based on the operational roster.
