About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Desk Technician to provide in-house IT support for one of our clients. Based in their office just a 10 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD, you’ll be Auswide’s dedicated onsite technician at the client’s office and will generally work independently day to day. You’ll be responsible for managing incoming support requests, prioritising your workload and taking ownership of issues through to resolution, while still having the wider Auswide technical team available for escalation and support.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver onsite IT support, assisting staff with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Work independently onsite, managing priorities and taking ownership of day-to-day IT support requirements.
Proactively identify and address IT issues and improvement opportunities within the client environment.
Manage your own workload and ensure outstanding issues are followed through to completion.
Manage and maintain IT assets, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management.
Escalate and collaborate with internal teams when complex technical problems arise.
Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
Contribute to continuous improvement by assisting with the development of support processes.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous IT support experience, ideally in a customer-facing role.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Intune/Endpoint Manager.
Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly regarded.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong customer service focus.
Confidence working independently and making sensible decisions about priorities and escalation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must:
Hold full working rights in Australia.
Be willing to participate in an after-hours on-call roster.
Be able to obtain a Police Clearance and Working With Children Check if requested.
