Service Engineer – CNC
Key Responsibilities
Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines, controllers, and automation systems at customer sites.
Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspection, geometry checks, and laser calibration.
Conduct pre-shipment inspections and support machine installation/delivery for local and overseas markets.
Respond to customer service calls and provide timely technical support.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, CNC, and PLC-related issues and prepare service reports.
Advise customers on routine machine maintenance and best practices.
Coordinate spare parts requirements, service quotations, and delivery.
Work closely with Service, Application, Sales, and overseas distributor teams to resolve technical issues.
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide after-sales technical support.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering.
3–5 years of field service experience, preferably with CNC machine tools.
Experience with Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Heidenhain CNC controls is an advantage.
Able to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Good English communication skills.
Location is at Pioneer MRT & Customer Site or Jurong East + client sites
