Service Engineer
Connect Energy is currently supporting a heavy industry manufacturing company who serve both upstream and downstream projects locally and overseas to look for several SERVICE ENGINEERS.
Main purpose of Role:
- Installation, Commissioning, Testing and Servicing Huisman Equipment throughout their life cycle. Ensuring quality (effectively working fit-for-purpose equipment), delivering agreed services and meeting client expectations.
Complexity of Tasks:
- Diagnoses the problem / reason for malfunctioning of equipment of clients or checks if service request is correct / sensible. Prepares, plans, and carries out technical intervention (repair, maintain, replace)
- Carrying out project-based commissioning and testing of installations and/or components in accordance with project requirements and in accordance with protocol and safety regulations.
- Ensuring smooth field service operations. Carrying out technical-logistics-administrative tasks with supportive nature. Documentation management, planning, communicating
- Performing (physically heavy) disassembly and assembly work. May be specialized in certain products or techniques. Carrying out all kinds of machining (drilling, sawing, welding) activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical)
- Min. 3 year relevant experience in the energy industry
- Must be familiar with hydraulic schematic drawing
