Service Engineer (Data Center/ ACMV)

Our esteemed client in the HVAC/ACMV Engineering industry is seeking a Service Engineer (Data Center/ ACMV) to join their dynamic team:

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Position: Service Engineer (Data Center/ ACMV)
• Location: East
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon to Fri, 9am to 6pm; Sat, 9am to 1pm)
• Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Mobile Allowance + VB

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, system diagnostics, and emergency troubleshooting on critical cooling and environmental monitoring equipment.
• Execute system startup/ shutdown tasks and respond swiftly to emergency service calls.
• Provide technical support and deliver training based on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate with customer engineering teams to uphold standard operating guidelines.
• Generate detailed service reports following maintenance or emergency calls, submit periodic progress updates, and maintain complete documentation tracking.
• Supervise contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
• Monitor site incident logs, implement corrective action plans, and organize daily execution schedules.
• Enforce strict occupational safety protocols and facility rules across all activities, while assisting with ad-hoc operational tasks as needed.

Job Requirements:

• At least NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in engineering maintenance or facilities servicing.
• Experience with ACMV, DX systems, precision cooling or other critical facility systems is advantageous.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working independently as well as with clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Willing to perform standby or emergency call-out duties when required.
• Comfortable carrying out hands-on work in data centre or other critical facility environments.
