Service Engineer (Data Centre - HVAC)

At least 2 years of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance engineering (ACMV/DX systems preferred)
The Service Engineer performs periodic servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CRAC/WDS systems. The role involves diagnosing hardware/software faults, identifying root causes, and recommending solutions. You will conduct equipment power-up/down procedures and respond promptly to emergency calls.
Key responsibilitiesPerform periodic servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CRAC/WDS systems
Diagnose hardware/software faults, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
Conduct equipment power-up/down procedures and respond promptly to e-calls (emergency calls)
Provide technical support and onsite training on Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM)
Maintain strong client relationships and liaise with customer engineering departments
Complete detailed service reports after each servicing/e-call
Submit weekly/monthly reports on work activities, progress, and remedial actions
Monitor and manage contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety/operational procedures
Plan, execute, and update daily work schedules
Strictly follow data center safety rules, regulations, and quality standards
Minimum ITE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in preventive maintenance engineering (ACMV/DX systems preferred)
Proficient in electrical/mechanical systems troubleshooting
Practical knowledge of CRAC, WDS (water detection system), or related critical infrastructure
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (written/verbal)
Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments
Team player with a positive, motivated, and willing-to-learn attitude
Flexibility and willingness to perform standby duties as required by operational needs
Able to perform manual tasks in data center environments
