Service Engineer (Food Processing)
Summary
On-site engineer installing, maintaining, and repairing food processing and packaging equipment while providing customer support across Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, commissioning, and testing of food processing and packaging equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical components.
Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and modifications as required.
Provide on-site technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.
Diagnose equipment issues and propose appropriate repair solutions.
Document service activities, including reports, checklists, and customer feedback.
Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for spare parts and technical information.
Adhere to safety, hygiene, and operational protocols at customer sites.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields.
1 to 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in servicing industrial, food processing, or packaging equipment (fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude may be considered).
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Willingness to travel for site visits, installations, and servicing work.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
MUST posses a valid Class 3 Singapore driving license.
