Service Engineer
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of onboard equipment and systems.
- Attend vessels and customer sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Conduct functional testing and verification after installation, maintenance, or repair work.
- Prepare service reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to vessel crew and customers.
- Identify equipment faults and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with engineering, project, and service teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, safety requirements, and applicable marine standards.
- Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and retrofit projects when required.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, spare parts, tools, and equipment used.
- Travel domestically and internationally for vessel attendance and customer support.
- Participate in on-call or emergency service duties when required.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in marine, offshore, industrial, or onboard service engineering.
- Experience with vessel or offshore equipment is highly advantageous.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance is preferred.
