Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites for installation, testing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting of electrical switchboards.
• Inspect switchboards and electrical equipment before installation and commissioning.
• Carry out testing of switchboards, including insulation resistance, continuity, protection, control, and functional tests.
• Perform commissioning and ensure switchboards operate according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and identify the root cause of problems.
• Carry out repair, replacement, modification, and maintenance works when required.
• Assist with site installation and ensure work is carried out according to drawings and project requirements.
• Prepare service reports, testing reports, commissioning records, and site documentation.
• Report site issues, defects, and required corrective actions to the relevant departments.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve manufacturing or technical issues.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers when required.
• Ensure all site work complies with safety requirements and company procedures.
• Ensure service jobs are completed safely, correctly, and within the required schedule.
