Service Engineer

Location: Singapore

Matic Engineering Pte Ltd is looking for a passionate and experienced Service Engineer to support our semiconductor wafer fabrication customers. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex equipment and working in a dynamic cleanroom environment, we invite you to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, modification, and overhaul of semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control system issues efficiently.

• Respond promptly to customer service requests and provide timely technical solutions.

• Perform equipment commissioning, testing, and continual improvement activities.

• Coordinate with customers on equipment servicing, maintenance schedules, and project requirements.

• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.

• Monitor equipment performance and provide feedback for continuous product and service improvement.

• Ensure all work complies with customer safety regulations and cleanroom protocols.

• Work independently on assigned tasks as well as collaboratively with the engineering team.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.

• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Relevant training will be provided.

• Candidates with 2 or more years of experience servicing semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with pneumatics, vacuum systems, PLCs, or automation is an advantage.

• Familiar with cleanroom working procedures and understands cleanroom do's and don'ts.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, responsible, resourceful, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Willing to travel to customer sites.

• Able to work overtime, weekends, public holidays, or standby duties when required.
