Field Service Engineer

Responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of our two-stroke and four-stroke engines and turbochargers. Service activities will be performed primarily onboard vessels during port stays or dry-docking, as well as at stationary power plants. The position will be based in our Kaohsiung office.

Key duties for the role

• Advise customers on the operation and maintenance of large two-stroke and four-stroke diesel engines
• Perform overhauls and repairs of engines and related components
• Provide technical consultation and troubleshooting support when customers encounter engine-related issues
• Prepare and submit timely, accurate, and detailed service reports in English
• Read, understand, and interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and other relevant engineering documentation
• Commission Everllence engines for new vessels and power plant applications
• Assist the Service Manager with the pricing and quotation of short-term and long-term service
• Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the Everllence workshop
• Assist the Service Manager in managing inventory, company assets, and spare parts stock
• Travel to customer sites, ports, shipyards, and power plants to perform service and commissioning activities
