About Your New Role

As a Service Manager you will be leading operational frontline teams, ensuring that our services reflect customer needs, the organisation’s sole purpose, and are delivering agreed outcomes for customers, their families and the organisation. This role will be based from our Capalaba office, supporting services in Supported Independent Living, In Home, Hub and Community Access across South East Queensland region including Bayside, Logan and Brisbane.

About You

• Experience in providing services for people with disabilities, particularly those with high or complex needs
• Experience in staff leadership and performance, including assessing recruitment needs, planning employment development plans, and performance management
• Experience in developing Person-Centred-Plans within a positive behaviour framework
• Financial acumen and the ability to manage within a prescribed budget and provide advocacy where needed
• Computer literate and proficient in the use of software and systems
• Ability to prioritise a workload, and respond to emerging situations and appropriate

Requirements

• A current Driver's Licence (P2 Minimum)
• Paid Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• Knowledge of legislation and safe work practices, and a commitment to policies and procedures
• Qualifications within the human services, community services and nursing field or equivalent (desirable)
