At Terex Jaques, we're seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead our aftermarket service operations across Victoria. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll drive customer satisfaction, lead a skilled team of technicians, oversee workshop, manufacturing and field service activities, and contribute directly to the ongoing growth of our business.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a team of Field and Onsite Service Technicians while ensuring customers receive exceptional aftermarket support for our industry-leading crushing, screening and mineral processing equipment.

This role combines technical leadership, customer relationship management, operational oversight and commercial accountability, making it ideal for someone ready to take ownership of a critical business function.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead, coach and develop a team of Field and Onsite Service Technicians

· Build strong relationships with customers and identify service opportunities

· Oversee workshop, manufacturing and field service work to ensure quality, safety and efficiency

· Review condition reports, quotations and repair scopes

· Manage service job planning, labour allocation and job profitability

· Ensure accurate invoicing, WIP management and job close-out

· Contribute to service sales planning, budgeting and business growth

· Drive continuous improvement and champion a strong safety culture

About You

· Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience

· 5+ years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar

· Proven leadership experience within a field service, maintenance or workshop environment

· Strong customer relationship and communication skills

· Organised, commercially minded and solutions-focused

· Experience in crushing and screening or heavy equipment industries highly regarded

· ERP experience advantageous

· Willingness to travel as required
