As a Traveling Service Manager, you’ll play a key leadership role supporting our Youngstown-area locations. You’ll work with different teams, help drive service and sales performance, coach employees, and make sure our customers receive the outstanding experience they expect from us.

As a Traveling Service Manager, you’ll help keep our service operations running smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Lead Your Team

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate Service Department personnel.
  • Help develop employees and promote a positive, high-performance team environment.
  • Support Store Managers with day-to-day operations and staffing needs.
  • Step in where needed to keep the team moving and customers taken care of.

Drive the Customer Experience

  • Review vehicle inspections and identify recommended services.
  • Create accurate service estimates.
  • Clearly explain and present estimates to customers.
  • Answer customer questions and help them make informed decisions about their vehicle.
  • Deliver a professional, positive customer experience from check-in through completion of service.

Drive Sales & Performance

  • Achieve established sales and service objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with the products and services their vehicles need.
  • Support company sales initiatives and service processes.
  • Help maximize every customer interaction while maintaining honesty and integrity.

Keep Operations Moving

  • Secure parts and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Manage and maintain appropriate parts inventory.
  • Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and to company standards.
  • Follow established phone, service, safety, and operational processes.
  • Support consistent execution of company and store procedures.

Because you’ll be traveling between locations, flexibility and a team-first attitude are essential. You’ll be someone our stores can count on to jump in, solve problems, support our people, and keep operations moving.

Qualifications and Skills

We’re looking for someone who combines automotive knowledge, leadership ability, sales skills, and a passion for helping customers.

  • Experience in tire, automotive service, or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of consumer tire products and services.
  • Understanding of mechanical service needs and applicable state inspection requirements.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and remain positive under pressure.
  • The ability to work independently and take assignments through completion.
  • A team-oriented attitude and willingness to support multiple locations.
  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Successful completion of required pre-employment testing.
