Service Manager

VIP Truck Center, a Volvo Class 8 Truck and Ford Medium Duty Truck dealership is looking to fill the position of Service Manager.

*Monitor and control the performance and profitability of the department
*Monitor technicians productivity
* Maintain good relations with customers
* Recruit, train and retain technicians
* Mentor and advise technicians,
* Make sure the right technician is assigned the right job
* Monitor the warranty process
* Work with other departments as required.
* Perform additional duties as required

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, a mechanical background with at least five years as a journeyman mechanic, be diesel engine certified, and at least two years as a foreman/service advisor. Must be customer friendly and be a team player. A valid driver’s license (CDL preferred) and insurability is mandatory. Must be computer proficient.
